Fabio Zuccaccia, born in Perugia in 1959. A 40 year long passion and experience of hunting which started while accompanying his father and his gundog, a Setter, following the last flock of Gray Partridges in the green hills of Umbria. Initially he was trained in terrestrial hunting with a set stance dog, but once he grew up—at the age he got his own hunting license—he distanced himself from the latter preferring the migratory hunting and huts and blinds: Pigeons, Ducks and Thrushes. In order to improve his shooting technique of flying birds he dedicated himself to Clay Pigeon Shooting. From 1979 to 1990 he succeeded in wearing the national color—“Maglia Azzurra”—the Blue and to be part of the Skeet Italian national shooting team, first as a Junior and then as a Senior. But big game hunting remains his passion, and his curiosity has always been addressed to the big animals from the black continent. He started going to Africa in 2000, and as been “caught” by its disease of “nostalgia” ever since. He is constantly looking for an excuse, a reason or an impulse to go back. To go possibly with his rifle or his camera to realize new videos. Lets go hunting then to make yourself relive or to make the others relive the adventure. |
